The covered attorney will receive twenty-four (24) hours of State Bar Matter defense representation
complementary annually that can used at any time, for one matter or across several matters until all hours are
used. With the Reveyr State Bar Matter Total Defense Plan, the covered attorney is protected against any type of State Bar disciplinary investigation, any State Bar Court litigation, or any State Bar administrative action, receiving complementary full representation from a State Bar Matter Defense expert.

The Reveyr Law Office Administration Plan ensures that the covered attorney’s clients as well as the covered attorney’s spouse and children are provided for in the event of a long-term disability or untimely death. A legal ethics and law license compliance expert will create and implement the Reveyr Law Office Administration Plan for the covered attorney’s law office that will handle the winding down of the practice according to the covered attorney’s wishes, consistent with the best interests of all clients and requirements of the State Bar of California.

Reveyr Always Compliant Plan assists the covered attorney’s Client Trust Accounting Protection Program
(CTAPP) and Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) obligations are timely and properly completed.
The team at Reveyr will not only monitor the covered attorney’s State Bar of California CTAPP and MCLE
compliance but will send out reminders to alert the attorney to outstanding compliance issues so an important compliance deadline will not be missed.

The Reveyr Office Audit provides the covered attorney an actionable ethics and compliance diagnostic of those law office policies and procedures that most commonly result in a legal ethics violation, State Bar discipline, or a California law license compliance duty or requirement violation. Specifically, the Reveyr Office Audit provides a review of the covered attorney’s: (1) Conflict Check System; (2) Client Files/Data Confidentiality Procedures; (3) File Retention & Destruction Procedures; and (4) Technology Competence Policies.

Since November 1, 2018, the California Rules of Professional Conduct require California attorneys who
operate law offices to “…make reasonable efforts to ensure that the firm* has in effect measures giving
reasonable* assurance that all lawyers in the firm* comply with these rules and the State Bar Act” and shall have “in effect measures giving reasonable* assurance that the nonlawyer’s conduct is compatible with the professional obligations of the lawyer….” [See Rules 5.1 & 5.3] The covered attorney will receive the Reveyr State Bar School Training for themselves and non-attorney staff. In this way the covered attorney’s law office will be compliant with this specific requirement which will lessen the risk of a finding of a Rule 5.1 or 5.3 violation subjecting the attorney to professional discipline. Moreover, this training is a prudent annual “refresher” regarding all of the covered attorney’s ethical duties or obligations pursuant to the California Rules of Professional Conduct and the State Bar Act, among other rules and statutes. It also reinforces non-attorney
staff’s understanding of the ethical duties and obligations of the covered attorney, lessening the risk that they will commit an act of ethical misconduct attributable to the covered attorney.
